If you trade that original card on the marketplace or privately or wherever, the cards you will receive in return will not be original. They can only count towards the 10 non-original cards you need so immediately you can see that they are much less valuable. In short, if you are only interested in FTL which does not care about card type (beyond the original/non-original distinction) then your 747 card is more valuable to you as an original card because you will probably pick up the 10 non-original cards over the two year period anyway with little or no effort. You get ones for your birthday and things like that. They give you them for recommending Uptrip to a friend and so on and if you use the blockchain you can buy non-original cards for like a dollar each, or you might even just be given them for free from people who have no interest in collecting their cards. My father in law for example flies LH a few times a year, has absolutely no interest in the cards so I just set up a dummy account in his name and I claim the cards on his behalf and transfer them on the blockchain to me and my family to use for these "non-original" cards.
Extremely clear!
I somehow missed the part anything from the marketplace becomes a Non-original, and thus mostly worthless card
