I have found CIBC to often be somewhat dislocated, e.g. spend over $5K on a statement but get no SQM; get 2K SQM despite spending under $5K.

My theory has been that there's some kind of lag, or the SQM runs on calendar months instead of statement months. It seems to always get caught up, one way or the other, by the next month.

So I'd just wait on it.
