Hi. If I pay for a preferred seat on Alaska or Hawaiian, and I get upgraded to Premium Class due to status, will they refund my seat fee?
Also, is it correct that silver status is not eligible for upgrades to Premium Class on S fares (Hawaiian) or L fares (Alaska)? I read it had to be Y, H or B fares, but others have told me I'm wrong.
