Just sharing my recent experience with the Qatar Airways Privilege Club credit card issued by Cardless, in case it helps others.

I originally applied during the 100,000 Avios promotional period. After approval, the welcome bonus shown in the offer was only 25,000 + 25,000 Avios instead of the advertised 100,000. I had screenshots of the 100k offer.

After escalating (including filing a CFPB complaint), Cardless canceled my first application and instructed me to reapply using the 100,000 Avios link before the promo expired. I reapplied on February 1, while the 100k offer was still live (expired Feb 4).

The second application then sat under review for over two weeks, despite my first application having been approved quickly. Today I finally received the approval email — and again the bonus reflected is only 25,000 + 25,000 Avios.

So this has now happened twice, even though the second application was submitted through the promotional link and within the promotional window.

I have not accepted the offer and am waiting for clarification, but I would strongly advise anyone applying to:

• Take screenshots of every step (offer page, application page, approval page).
  
• Verify the bonus shown in the approval email before accepting.
  
• Be aware that the bonus displayed after approval may not match the promotional offer you applied under.
  

I’m hoping this is a system issue that can be corrected, but the process so far has been concerning.
