These were paid tickets, the whole ticket start to finish was purchased from BA.com, which offered the flights of their partners within the package, BA coded while operated by others.

I notified BA straight away that the flight was cancelled( it was cancelled at 1am for 10am flight) and told by them that I had to deal with Aer, which I then did. Thats the first I have heard about the mennens formula and as you say it makes perfect sense to use that, so Im not sure why they havent used this, I shall ask the question. Thanks
