This is patently untrue for both 2025 and 2026. You can go back in this thread to the beginning of both years and see many DPs of successful automatic reimbursement within 3 (at most 4) days for purchases made on 1/1 and pretty much the entire month thereafter.

Again, going back and reviewing DPs from Feb (as well as the 1st and 2nd day of other months) shows that this isn't true either. Maybe some reimbursements moved up slightly to 5 days in 2025. Even for this year, the problem only began with purchases made on 2/5 and later, so anyone that did 2/1 to 2/4 reported success within a few days.
I can't remember which year it was prior to 2025 when there was a time when these credits moved to taking almost 2 weeks to come through and everyone was up in arms that it's dead, but it had nothing to do with purchases being made during the first few days of the month.
I think that if the 2/5 purchases don't get reimbursed within the next week or two, that's when we'll know that this is probably dead.
