Yes I meant the introduction of the LTG makes the £1,150 marginally more acceptable.

Having said that I don't think I've spent more than £100 on repairs to my current bag, most of which was a new telescopic handle and assembly last year. A lot of the minor stuff - replacing hubcap on a wheel, fixing a broken handle etc. - has been somewhat generously been done for free even in the LVMH era.

Major airline-inflicted stuff like huge dents (thank you BA) have been covered by the airline concerned.
