Now each voucher
has a maximum points value based on your tier. If Red a voucher will be worth up to 75,000 points, and for Silver and Gold it’s up to 150,000 points.
To use as companion vouchers Buy a ticket with either points or pounds and use your voucher to bring a companion along with you - either on a round trip, or two one-way flights. standard taxes, fees and charges will apply.
that's what I thought but not how it was described to me last call
i wanted to "buy" an UC ticket using my voucher for 150,000 miles and yes pay taxes
then use my other voucher for an UC ticket again just paying taxes
I was told I had to purchase a revenue Econ ticket and pay for ticket and taxes, THEN upgrade using miles and pay the UC taxes as well, so a double whammy
and THEN pay EC and UC taxes on my companion
Im going to try again today or tomorrow
