Here are some of the callouts from our stay since there's be some inconsistent experiences with the reported policy changes:

1. We were able to get lunch on the day of arrival after we checked in and got our room early at 12pm. This was not mentioned to us at check-in, but we went after Wildcrafting and had no issues with the front of house. I confirmed this in advance with my concierge in late 2025 and then 1 week before our stay as I saw all the recent posts saying this was removed. YMMV.
Wow, we probably ran into each other as I was there too (see post above), although it was just one day instead of 2 days.

And interesting that you were offered to get lunch on day of arrival, since we pretty much did the same thing - went to Wildcrafting, then went to check-in, and FD turned me down on asking for lunch, or really any food before dinnertime for that matter. It really does feel like the FD and the Sur House is largely disconnected and it heavily depends on who you happen to ask on day of arrival.
