I have my first flight on one (in F) coming up in a couple of weeks. From what I've heard/read, they're using the QR bedding. Why didn't they keep the CX bedding? It's better, thicker, more comfortable. The relatively thin mattress "pad" that QR uses is nothing compared to the CX featherbeds, which I enjoyed for years when I used to fly CX F between the U.S. and SEAsia. I loved that flight from Boston to Hong Kong, -- leave a little after midnight, get in a solid night's sleep, and still have plenty of time left in the flight to catch a few movies. The CX F beds are still the most comfortable that I've ever had in a plane. I actually used to sleep better on that flight than I did in my own bed, surprisingly.
The Old CX seat on the QR birds might show their age and the the TV screen is smallish with a slow oryx system. The QR mattress/duvet is not as good as the old CX one. But the old F seat is still among the top of my list (better than QR F A380) and QR F&B are top notch even if compared to EK. Of course, That is not a big step above J Qsuite (except wines).
