Ship numbers N520DN and upwards have a MTOW of 283T. The rest are divided between 275t and 280t. There are four in the current batch to be delivered this year before deliveries kick back up later this decade. In total, Delta plans on having 31 of the planned 59 A359s with the 283t MTOW. It is speculated part of the reason for the A35K delay is availability for the 322t version of the aircraft. This plane will be able to carry more cargo on ATL-JNB than the 77L. Let that sink in on its capabilities.
