There is no doubt about service differences between TK and BA, however safety matters too. You can rest easy on BA knowing that however stale and lukewarm the salad may be, the pilots are at least mildly competent. The same simply cannot be said for many other carriers .. the statistics speak for themselves unfortunately.
Regarding pilot recruitment and training, I'd be dubious about any airline that expands at a very high rate! Also, is the regulatory oversight as stringent as the UK or EU?
