Looking at the chicken main posted by jg94 just above, I am minded to suggest that BA should raise its game where F class catering is concerned. To me, this dish (which I assume is the one glamorously described as “stuffed roasted chicken crown, crispy duck fat potatoes, grilled leeks, heritage baby beetroot, jus” on the menu at post #50 by mountainmike) really doesn’t align with BA’s website talk of “fine indulgent dining”.
Perhaps our minds play tricks with us once sat in a F class cabin ……. but if you strip away the setting / fancy crockery / tablecloth, and instead pop the contents into a foil tray, this chicken dish would then seem for all the world like a fairly routine (and low cost) economy class meal on many carriers.
Come on, BA, please try harder !
Having had this dish earlier this month I can confirm that is was one of the most ordinary meals I have had in F on any airline. Put that in an economy tray and it might be passable.
This is in the same month that BA are serving actual caviar on a dish in the T5 CCR.
