It’s a fair reflection Andriyko, and there are of course any number of market factors at play when airlines set their price points ; some of which we are privy to, and others not so much (how often have we cited the dark art of revenue management !)

All that said, my fundamental perspective is that we are highly unlikely to see any genuine upgrade to the very average CE product as offered by BA (or indeed any wish on their part to distinguish themselves, quality-wise, from various other intra-Europe providers) for as long as there are any number of willing punters happy to cough up (myself included on very rare occasions, when paying cash rather than avios)
