... So in the wallet Bilt shows your accounts as being verified, but when you go to try and pay rent the system barfs because it wasn't verified by Plaid.
Thank you. Unfortunately I doubt ANYONE is surprised at your experience, just another example of Bilt giving their customers the finger.

I just tried to do that last night. Cardless “activate your account” didn’t work using email or mobile # on 2 different browsers, I get the idea Cardless doesn’t consider Bilt to be a Cardless serviced product. (Which is completely understandable, I’d certainly never want to be a Bilt business partner.)

Thank you. It’s clear you were trying to clarify but for me it’s added to the confusion, particularly in view of the following quotes from Bilt:
Choosing Your Rewards Option: Bilt Cardholders must select one of two Rewards Options that determines how you … can earn rewards on both Everyday Spend and Bilt Housing Payments each Billing Cycle.
Housing-only Option: Earn Bilt Points automatically on Bilt Housing Payments with no transaction fee.
Feature: Minimum points floor on Bilt Housing Payments: 250 points/Billing Cycle
Example: $500 Everyday Spend triggers 1,000 Points on Bilt Housing Payments

Thank you, violently agree except it’s probably the “definition” of trouble.
My apologies for my excessively long posts here, in all of Bilt’s crap I (temporarily) lost sight of the forest for the trees*.

Thank you very much, outstanding observation analysis.
Bilt was founded 4-5 years ago as a no-cost way to “pointsetize” rent payments. Bilt has strayed far from that worthy goal and for many people is
now circling the drain. For me personally, long being an advocate of “it’s all about the SUB”, after I earn my Bilt SUB I’ll reevaluate the cost ($$ and time and energy) to continue to receive points for my HOA payments and if it’s more than 2-3% and/or more than a few moments, my Bilt will fully go down the drain.
I’m finished with trying to learn Bilt calculus. And oh yeah, even with 7 figure balances in 6-8 programs, I’ll still be loath to let my Bilt balance be above 1000 or 2000.
(* AI Overview: "Lose sight of the forest for the trees" means becoming so focused on small, specific details that you fail to understand the overall situation or the "big picture". It describes being overwhelmed by, or overinvested in, minor aspects, causing one to miss the broader context or ultimate goal.)
