The building will be fine for you. One hallway still smelled a bit of smoke the next day but they were doing all sorts of ventilation and deodorizing. The fire was contained to a particular storage/conference like room at one end of the 5th floor.

Overall the staff did their best possible job they could have given the circumstances. It seems like they comped one night for people affected by the evacuation which seems reasonable.
