To be fair the agent was talking more about the general changes to light breakfasts and Ploughman's instead of a hot meal, rather than the removal of starters and cheese per say, but I was far from impressed that this was BA's line to justify the changes.

What I imagine they've done is conflated feedback about rushed/chaotic services in big CE cabins on MAN, NCL, AMS etc. flights to then justify catering cuts across the board. Problem is it takes us passengers for fools and causes more customer alienation. Who knows maybe BA will continue to make record profits but I still think it is 'brave' of them to aggravate so many previously loyal customers who won't be there the next time there's a downturn in aviation.
