But most of us don't, having watched Alaska go from something good to now looking at alternatives. Disappearing interlining, forwarding baggage, buy First, get lounge access along with doubling Boardroom fees, greatly diminished upgrades, chip-chip-chip, etc. These are all own goals.
But if you are a fan of a third rate actor maybe poor performance is acceptable to you?
The point is, own goals are unforced errors. Alaska is deliberately and intentionally moving forward. The fact that you yearn for the old days doesn’t mean they’re crashing and burning. It means you’re stuck with an unrealistic expectation of what reality is now.
