First time visiting the Platinum lounge this year on the 1st day of Lunar New Year and noticed the following changes (I was here during breakfast window)
- they now use a tablet - seems to be quite recent as they had to educate all guests on how to use it. I found it ok, however, since it's with a keyboard, it did take up space on the table and they don't remove it. Ordering was OK.
- menu wise, I noticed this time they are teaming up with Shangri-La (?) my guess from the decorations - but for breakfast the usual Malaysian suspects
- was awkward to have 5-6 waiting members around the counter staring at you eating (there was another pair at another table)
- shifted to the main lounge area - and had to request for champagne. This was served at the table, and at least one addition I noticed, was (maybe waiter dependent) proactively brought over a plate of dried fruits and peanuts.
- as usual lounge was artic cold
