Just trying to temper expectations... flying MUC-DEN-SFO next week on Monday. MUC-DEN cleared into PZ already (with MUA), but DEN-SFO is still waitlisted. Last flight of the night out of DEN. I'm #2 on the list with >9 seats available. No status.

As soon as GS CPU window opens up, I assume that any chance of an upgrade goes out the window, right?

Also, separately, am flying SFO-FRA on the outbound. Cleared into RN, still WL for Polaris. I'm #1 on the list with >9 seats available. Still shows J9 P8, but I suspect UA is trying to oversell PP (0 seats available for selection, but O5 R5 RN1). Flight is on Thursday (T-72 hours or so). Am I missing something, or should this be a fairly good chance for the upgrade?
