Report TSA Touchless ID experiences at SFO here
Hey friends. I just opted into Touchless ID on the Alaska, United, Delta, American and Southwest apps. I understand some have privacy concerns about this, but I've pretty much given up on privacy.
For those unfamiliar, Touchless ID requires that you have 1) a Trusted Traveler number, 2) A valid U.S. passport (not sure if Canadian would work), and 3) you've uploaded these into your airline profile and you've selected "opt in" for Touchless ID.
I'll be curious to see if this saves any time at SFO and elsewhere. I have PreCheck and Clear, but so do quite a few others at SFO. I've never noticed where the Touchless lines are at SFO, but I'll look for it at Harvey Milk in a couple of weeks and report back. My PreCheck + Clear experiences at SFO have been good, but sometimes it's taken ~15 minutes at Harvey Milk (plus there's going up and down the escalators).
