One of our members didn’t want “to clog up the report” with their question but it was a very good one and something I should have detailed at the outset. The genesis of this trip was this post

Various Europe - AKL c.£2.5k RTN Turkish + Codeshare Partners

This provided the SOF-IST-DPS-AKL-SIN-IST-BER part of the trip for £2,308 via trip.com
NCL-LHR-SOF was via trip.com also for £170 (plus subsequent upgrades)
BER-LHR-NCL is BA on avios

The last time I looked a couple of weeks ago you could still find this type of price for later in the year for various itineraries
