Thanks for sharing your experiences, yes the infamous "unrenovated" room with a shower curtain.
There are some strong opnions on FT:IHG about those, the shower curtain AND the unrenovated junk.......

yes hiding the bottle of champagne is a bit cheeky but i guess they wanted to get "naughty" in their room on Valentine's day for weekend long kanoodle in the love shack, maybe it enhances the mood and extends the performance?
