Technically, you can now get 8X on cruises if you book them through Chase Travel. I realize that for many here booking via a travel portal is anathema, but it's certainly at least worth a look if you had a simple itinerary and were pretty confident you would not need to make a lot of changes, rebookings, etc. And obviously, not sure if the expedition cruises you book are available via the portal, but certainly all the other major lines are.
Like most here, I tend to prefer booking direct over using a portal, but 8X per dollar on cruises is nothing to sneeze at, particularly in a world where things like the "Ink Train" no longer exist for obtaining Chase UR points. 8X points/dollar on an expensive cruise is almost like a sign up bonus on its own.
