I don't regret paying for the OWV experience first time in the Maldives, but I suspect there are better properties (in the Maldives or Tahiti) to make that splurge.
We have tried OWV at Ritz, Waldorf, Soneva, Conrad, St. Regis, 4S, and Cheval Blanc. Our preference has always been beach.
