I love the D1 Lounges and think they are the best airline lounges in the US, and amongst the best business class lounges in the world, but I think DL also knows it needs to up its ground product to make up for its less than stellar business class seats (the ones in the 763) on JFK-LAX transcon and on many European departures out of JFK.
