That’s probably right, but one big difference with Edit is how this credit is specific to one airline, and it’s also not commonly earned. I know CSR cardholders are generally affluent, but $75,000 on the card in one year is probably a small portion of the group.

Same here. Planets lined up for me last year with business and leisure travel so that I just barely got above $75K. Probably won't happen again. I've enjoyed the $500 credit and the A-List status, but I wonder how many of me there are in this regard -- wealthy enough to reach that spend, but cheapskate enough to fly Southwest regularly and care about getting good deals.

I'm also a fan of SUBs, but last year Chase SR still had 3x points on all travel, and that was quite a benefit when you're charging a 3 bedroom condo for a group of five, and you're going on a pricey cycling trip in France. Built-in trip cancellation/delay insurance for all of that. Ah well, fun while it lasted.
Same here. I charged all our pricey expedition cruises on the CSR last year. Now that cruises don't qualify for 3x points anymore, I have no more incentive to use CSR for cruising, except for the trip cancellation/interruption coverage. (Still trying to figure out what card to use for cruising going forward.)
