Optimistically I think that it could do the opposite. It would be nice if seated in F, and when preorder comes along you could select from the options for Y as well. I'm on a flight this week where I wish that was the case, not a huge fan of any of the current breakfast options but I would love to try the hot honey chicken and waffle sandwich instead. Will attempt to do so onboard but I have low faith that it will actually work.
