1) The picture has disappeared from the link
2) The picture shows G-EUPJ after landing (note spoilers deployed), but its transponder hasn’t pinged since it landed in Malta in January.
3) The aircraft is 35yrs old and as noted only received the BEA scheme in 2019. For a plane that was for the chopping block in Dec’25 and has had a life extension for probably 2yrs max, no way would BA bother painting it back into normal colours.
4) Malta has never been a paint shop location used by BA previously.
I think the picture was just an old one which perhaps was recently uploaded?
