I just completed a 3 day stay here and the base room is tiny but the bathroom is even smaller. Moxy is luxury compared to what this hotel offers. There's just enough room to walk around the bed, a tiny desk behind the bed and shower, and a tiny bathroom where the bathroom door swings in to become the shower door. I'm usually pretty comfortable at Moxy, Caption, and Me and All when I'm traveling solo but somehow the layout of the room and the coldness of the decor here really throws me off. The room style reminds me a lot of the chain European hostels like a&o or ibis Budget.

Breakfast is pretty basic, there's a hot noodle dish, egg station, some hot local meat and vegetable dishes, fruits, and pastries. I've had more enjoyable breakfasts at the Moxy and Caption. The gym was surprisingly good and the coworking area was a surprise. There's an outdoor biergarten outside the entrance and a rooftop bar and restaurant but they're almost always empty.

It's the weekend before new years so they're almost full and I was upgraded to one of the corner riverside queen rooms which is the same size as the base room. There's loud music playing near the river until 11PM and traffic noise all hours of the day from the street in front of the hotel. At a fixed $65/night all year round, it's a decent price for high season weekends and holidays but terrible value for any other time of the year. $50/night can get you a full service standard room with great breakfast next to the beach at one of the local hotels.

Vietnam is severely lacking in Hyatt offerings, especially in the lower mid-range. I wish they had converted one of the million other hotels here into a Hyatt Place instead of onboarding this Wink chain. I have a hard time understanding why the rooms here are so small when the real estate prices really aren't that bad.
