Just one little problem with this response... I was actually complaining about getting the Ploughman's Tea instead of a hot meal with stater and cheese on a flight from Rome. Last time I checked FCO was not one of BA's 'shortest Club Europe flights' and I wasn't served breakfast either.

More evidence, I would suggest, that BA will very often not trouble themselves to actually bother reading the specifics of a complaint. Its the only viable explanation as to why the response discusses breakfast - when your grievance related to a flight on which breakfast is not actually served.

do read the complaint, BUT (in the manner of many a politician) simply ignore what was put to them and instead answer a question which wasnt asked.
