Which Marriott brand hotel would you suggest if I want central location with a good lounge that I could be upgraded to. First year Ambassador. First trip to Istanbul. Ritz Carlton's dont upgrade to lounge access. Most of the hotels I have checked that have a lounge seem to be outside of town. Sheraton City Center doesn't get great reviews for its lounge. A good balance between location, upgrade opportunity and lounge quality, and also price would be the Renaissance Bosphorus, IMHO. If you go that path, make sure it is the "Bosphorus" as there are 2 Renaissance properties in town.
