QC20s actually have infinite battery life as you can connect them to the IFE USB or power outlet and charge while in use. I've been using them for 12 years now and am very happy with them.
For longhaul overnight flights, wired is the way to go unless you'd want to wake up midway through the flight because the batteries of BT ones give out. Unfortunately that seems to be a very niche market that no one is serving anymore.
