But no matter what you have more than enough time
Thanks for all the info! Certainly as I won't have checked luggage.
The Mrs will be flying to Rochester a few weeks before me and will have at least 2 work cases of stuff so she'll still have to check them in at Terminal B?

[QUOTE=JPG3392;37596677]Welcome to FT, Dal3D!
As others have said, you should have sufficient time. But in case you are delayed for any reason and miss your connection, does AA have any later flights from Boston to Rochester on the day when you are traveling?[/QUOTE
Yes - there's another flight a few hours later. It's just the earlier one gets me into Rochester just before 7pm so after car collection, dinner with the Mrs is still a possibility rather than nearer midnight.

If you fly directly to Portland you are going to find getting back to the east coast a pain, you either need to leave mid day and most likely connect twice to get to Rochester or take the red eye and connect. Make sure you research flights in and out of Portland well, and keep in mind that the trip between jfk and Lga is no picnic should you try to come thru ny
I'll probably be flying LHR > BOS > ROC as planned to see the Mrs, but then flying Rochester to Portland to attend a work thing and then Portland > LHR directly with BA.
