I'm flying LHR > BOS > ROC (Rochester NY) all on a BA ticket in March to see the Mrs who will be out there working for about a month. Unfortunately it's after the USA daylight saving moves an hour forward and us in the UK haven't changed. That means the usual transfer time of 2h55m is down to 1h55m. Is this doable from arriving at Terminal E and needing to get out through passport and then back in to Terminal B for Piedmont / AA domestic?

I've read it can be easier to just get out at Terminal E and straight back in security there and walk round, or just out Terminal E, across the car park and into Terminal B security?

I've been through USA with my current ESTA previously so can use MPC and will only have hand luggage. I might even get Premium Economy to get out sooner. The BA213 usually arrives 30 mins early from LHR which may help if all goes to plan.

Doable?
