Believe it was due to commence with the refurbs that double the size of the "business" class cabin.
The first aircraft VH-VKK is now in HKG and expected to be complete in March, but it will take into 2027 to refurb all the 787s.
Wouldn't be surprised to see more information announced with the Qantas HY results on 26-Feb.. but I'd expect it to be a last minute upgrade depending on what aircraft is scheduled.
Meantime it's probably also worth being aware that some Economy seats will disappear in the refurb, particularly the mini-cabin.
