The way this is being reported raises more questions than answers, frankly.

First, the Californian THC limit for edibles is 10mg per serving, or 100mg per packet. The news coverage indicates that the gummies consumed contained up to 300mg - or three times the Californian limit per packet (although of course that doesn’t stop someone buying and consolidating several packets).

But more pertinently, THC Edibles are a Class B controlled drug in the UK and we’re told that the affected individuals consumed them in the crew bus after arrival. So logically they must have come from the UK in the first place - which means someone has either procured them in the UK illegally or taken them into the UK from California illegally (and then brought them back on this flight). This, I think, is the bigger issue for whoever was responsible.
