JFK-LHR in F

Made a last-minute decision to use an expiring SWU to go into F when one seat opened up, mainly for the better lie-flat. Crew was great, closed the galley curtains (unfortunately not a given) and was efficient with meal service etc.

Skipped the main course as I had a very quick bite at Chelsea. Had the fruit plate about 30 minutes out, which turned out to be the right decision as the delay resulted in no breakfast at the CCR.

Dinner menu. Some overlap with the J menu.

Champagne matches J, which is disappointing. I had half glasses of the Argentinian red and the Bordeaux. AA’s best red offerings in at least a few years in my opinion.
