Yeah this happens a lot with Italy tbh. Stuff shows up ages later. The website not finding it isn’t shocking either. If it’s outside the legal window, you can appeal, but you have to do it the official way, not just ask nicely by email.
I sent emails to 3 addresses and got no response from 2 of them. The 3rd one is the nice inspector from Lecce local police. She answered me on Monday morning and kept following up until she sent my appeal to the prefettura with a confirmation on Wednesday. She checked everything i sent her and confirmed the form was properly filled. I felt lucky with her considering the other addresses play dead.
Now just waiting for the appeal to be processed. I guess i'll receive a letter if it's positively processed or an email from her as she promised to do a follow-up.
