Some say they have been considering building a fleet of smaller aircraft purchased on the second hand market to cover several years of in-between. So the update they are planning on releasing could be about how to buy them more time.
For A220 I'd say deliveries could start in 2028, the order backlog is around 450 aircraft. LOT revealed an order for 40 of the type last June and first delivery will be in -27. Airbus is aiming to ramp up the production from 7-8/month to 12/month by the end of this year.
