Not sure where to ask this question...
I booked a roundtrip ticket via UA that involves domestic legs to SFO, then onwards to FRA on LH. At this point, all legs were showing on the UA app.
I wanted to upgrade the return from FRA to first, so I contacted UA and a chat agent converted the return international segment to a native LH code, and I was able to pay LH directly for an upgrade. After this, the segment that has a native LH flight number disappeared from my booking on the UA app! However, on the LH app, all segments are there!
Not sure if this is a glitch, and should not affect my booking in any way.
Just heard LH crew are striking, and I don't know with the above, if it will affect me being able to rebook in any way. Although my trip is not til about 6 weeks from now.
I'm just paranoid because I just had a nasty experience with LH two years ago - agents were as someone else described, recalcitrant.
