The difference in space is indeed massive.
One problem is that 9A/L are bassinet seats, so can be quite noisy if occupied. 9A/L are not for sale now not but seem unoccupied. Another problem, if you are noise-sensitive, is the proximity of toilets.
These middle seats 1D/H and 9D/H are wonderful if you travel as a couple. 3L is a perfectly nice quiet window seat, less spacy than row 1 and 9.
