Flew BA465 from Madrid on Monday evening. 19 passengers in the Club cabin with three cabin crew members.
No menus. No predinner drinks run.
I had pre-ordered a low fat meal which was brought to me around 10 minutes or so before the meal service began. It was poached cod on a bed of glass noodle vermicelli and a pot of strawberry sorbet for dessert. No starter or salad. There was a Flora spread pot on the tray but no bread roll.
I had finished my meal by the time the dinner service began. My partner said that the options were either a salad of some sort, chicken in bread sauce or truffle rigatoni. There was also a pot of a creamy dessert. Bread rolls were offered from a basket.
The drinks trolley came around after the meals were served. No refills were offered but we did manage one top up of our bubbles on request, although the IFM did ask us if either of us would be driving home before refilling our glasses.
I am not sure there was anything in particular to complain about but it all just felt slightly cold and perfunctory.
