Ok thanks for the pointless semantics. Clearly the point was to say that someone staying as an adult couple with a 14 year old child not getting breakfast is absurd. 14 is not an adult by any measure other than to charge for occupancy, which is fine, but don't kid yourself and try and argue that the terms of the Hyatt program are not created with the intention that a <18 year old (especially 14 with their parents...come on now) gets breakfast as part of the benefit.

You can pay for anything you want but what is the point of the status? That's a ridiculous interpretation but I'm not terribly surprised given how weirdly rigid and structured the hotel is being about the breakfast in general. The way they describe the Japanese set and how if you order that, you cannot go to the buffet...you would think they had snipers waiting to stop you. I literally heard them explain it as, if you order this, please stay here and don't go to the buffet area.
