The TATL JV partners coordinate fare filings, but inventory availability can vary from flight to flight depending on who is coding flight. Although in many cases they will be the same. At any rate, DL metal flights will show up on DL website once you attach Skymiles number even if KL coded. I doubt the 006 ticket number is actually a "credit" and is just instantiated due to the DL metal on ticket.
The flights that I booked on KLM (completely Delta metal) have a connection each way. I called Delta to make sure that the price differential I was seeing between KLM and Delta was accurate and unfortunately it was. I do see the flight on both my Delta account and on KLM. The ticket # associated with the unused e-ticked (Delta's terminology) starts with an 074. I'm not planning on being able to use that ticket but was really more concerned that there would be a problem with the flight. My flight isn't until Oct so won't be able to update this until then.

Appreciate all the input!
