Bookings made on Hyatt.com so the MRS property cannot charge to my card, it must be done by Hyatt.

Anyone have this experience?
How did / does it occur?
I recently stayed at the hotel Luciene in Galveston, Texas, which is a Mr. and Mrs. Smith property and the actual room bill was completed and paid for on the Hyatt website not the Hotels. The only thing the hotel charged was for additional expenses at the bar
