I guess that there are loads of stupid FTers, including me! Stays used to count under SPG, and now they sort of count again. Lots of people used to, and may now again, switch hotels, particularly if the hotels are co-located, like SGS and WGS in Bangkok (across the street from each other), or Element and Aloft in Lexington, Massachusetts (share a parking lot). Different hotels, different brands. No need to disparage us because we do things differently from the way that you do.

I don't see the confusion. Lurker didn't say anything about where you "spent the night." S/he said ". . . stays completed between 12:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026 and . . . ." Seems perfectly clear to me. If you check out on the 25th at 8 a.m., your stay was
completed at 8 a.m. on the 25th, a full eight hours after 12:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026. If Lurker feels the need to clarify, s/he can chime in. Otherwise, I'd go by what was posted.
