I've just had 10A and L open up on a flight next week on a booking made prior to the fee being introduced. I expected these to be free but the system is trying to charge me.

Any views or experience of this and should I pursue it or take it as the rule?

They have also opened up on the return where I have 1A and I can change that to 10A with no fee, presumably because the system thinks I've already paid for 1A which I haven't. Any comments on whether to chose 10A over 1A? I realise it's a bassinet so I could come unstuck, but I'm willing to take that gamble if 10A has significant benefits.
