I assume ba checknin was issuing vouchers.
If so then BAs IT is the issue here. It is BA giving out the vouchers, not Aspire, thats why BA are sending the message, but their IT cannot easily only send the message to those with lounge access.
Did you get a voucher? Paid Lounge access cannot be booked from ba yet, I would be surprised if you got a voucher from ba check in
