The one elite night per brand is an interesting step back from the historic "double bonus nights" that has often led to many of us having a lot of bonus nights early in the year for many years. So what's that, a maximum of ~40 bonus nights (and the reality that getting beyond about 15-20 is going to take a lot of effort, and personally I imagine I will get ~10).

However, I do like some more interesting promotions that encourage brand swapping just hope that the rewards are better next time, and not as complex as the prior "outdoors" Q3 bonus, which was very unclear what brand would be classed as outdoors (at a high level).

Will probably drive me to get the UK debit card now to top up my nights by the equivalent number of bonus nights if needed towards the end of year for re-qualification.

I'm just sad that it starts after Chinese New Year (for good reason of course), as I'd have gotten four brands next week.
